Vocalist Kevin Galloway grew up in South and East Texas (Freeport and Big Sandy respectively), where he started his love of music singing anywhere from churches to bars. He moved to Austin as a singer/songwriter playing open mics and local clubs until early '05 when he decided to start a band in order to more effectively express his musical vision. Kevin's powerful soul-filled vocals posses a distinct quality of warmth and awareness that immediately draws the listener in. His voice reflects the country and soul that Kevin grew up with, as well as bringing forth a modern viewpoint. Kevin also plays rhythym guitar, and adds his own distinct feel to the Uncle Lucius songbook.
