Drummer Jason Armstrong grew up in Chorpus Christi, Texas where he began playing drums as soon as he learned how to put together a make-shift drum kit out of pots and pans. He followed his passion throughout high school, playing in the drumline as well as some local bands around town. Soon afterwards he moved to Austin and played drums in the experimental rock band Wu Li before joining Uncle Lucius. Jason's distinct view and rhythym is the backbone and driving force of Uncle Lucius' live sound.
